Top Gear: New Reasonably Priced Car

Posted by on February 18, 2013

Top Gear has once again changed its reasonably priced car which sees a celebrity around the infamous Top Gear test track and through the gruelling ‘Gambon’ corner every week. The previous car, was introduced in 2010 and it took the form of the Kia Cee’d, now though, after years of being abused by the Top Gear team and their guests, the used Kia is being replaced by…. Another Kia Cee’d!

To mark the occasion Top Gear invited Matt Le Blanc back to the studio after he got the fastest time around the track in the last Cee’d, though thanks to the dodgy whether he couldn’t quite top the time he got last year. We look forward to seeing how the Cee’d fares with the rest of the celebs lined up to have a go.  The top gear team also arranged a match of rugby to be played by a bunch of Cee’ds which turned into a bit of a demolition derby with headlights smashed, dented doors and caved in bonnets.

The Kia has received a lot of praise since, with people being particularly impressed at the self-parking power the car possesses, which serves to put an end to the parallel parking misery which plagues so many motorists. Whilst we imagine that this particular Cee’d will rack up a significant servicing bill, for normal motoring use it should be relatively cheap to own however.
